To report an issue, annoyance, etc that you don't see in the list below, click on the "Problem" link at the top of this page.
For now, here's a list of known issues (this is more for my reference than yours)
- Bugs:
- Strong Will?
- Incomplete data on new Advantage
- PDF DR calculation not working? See pat's character
- When transferring a character and the user selects the campaign name instead of clicking the button a 404 error page comes up
- When adding a skill/adv/etc and it already exists in the database, don't spit out an error! Just add it to the character!
- Data to enter
- Add Mount (ie Horse) Armor from Basic (with page numbers)
Add more ranged/hand weapons from Martial Arts (with page numbers)
- Add
ranged/hand damage from spells and show it on the ranged/hand tabs and PDF automatically
- Add Page abreviation legend
- Add support for...
- Wealth, Social advantages/disadvantages
- Add support for zero-percent (ie 0%) enhancements/limitations so that they will display on the PDF
- support for enhancements/limitaitons on basic/secondary attributes like is currently support in adv/disadvantages (ie, the little +/- next to the adv/disadvantage name that modifies the cost). Specifically Size and no-fine-manipulators (B15 for ST and B16 for HP)
- Speed and move should be able to be bought down all the way or bought up to ridiculous amounts (B17: no restriction on non-humanoids)
- Secondary Attributes should not be limited to -10 and +20 (but not allowed to go negative
- Starting Wealth (cash on hand)
- meta-traits
techniques
- Add support for techniques that default to other techniques, such as Finger Lock (MA73)
- Add support for "Active Defense" defaults, such as Timed Defense (MA89)
- Vehicles
- TL set by GM/user and don't display Weapons, Armor, Equipment, etc by default
- Add some sort of message to level drop downs to indicate that you can get higher levels
- Add ability to specify the character point amount for adv/disadv/skill/etc on a character by character basis
- Advantages
- Immunity enhancement (id=405) shouldn't be on Resistant Advantage per book (since it is supposed to be 1x cost). It should just be included.
- Disadvantages
- Add campaign limit for quirks that is seperate from disadvantages and apply it to red box when over limit.
- Add campaign checkbox to limit the max number of character points you can get from Disadvantages, even though you might have more than that on your character sheet.
- Add checkbox on character Disadvantages sheet to disable the red "over limit" box around the Disadvantage point total.
- Skills
- hide derived skill specializations on addNew skill
- When attempting to add a new skill (or specialization) that already exists, exit gracefully (ie don't show an error) and return to the AddNew page with the correct tab.
- Add support for "optional" specializations (see B169-170) and include these specializations in appropriate Talents
- Add ability to set/modify the skill defaults
- Fix Error when trying to add a new skill with the same name as one that already exists in the db
- Range/Hand Weapons
- Weapon Quality [ngb]
- Fix bug that prevents duplicate damage for same weapons from being added
and displayed (see large knife)
- Add Karate, Judo, Sumo Wrestling, Wrestling to list of melee (close combat category?)
Add abilility to specify multiple skills for a single weapon (see MA Karate/Judo/DX)
- add ability to specify weapons per yard (MA228)
- Add association between shields and hand_weapon shield dmg
- Powers
- Talent levels on addNew isn't being set
- Add ability to add new Powers, modify talent cost, and modify page
- Display ability-specific enhancements/limitations on PDF
- Provide way to specify the SPEC on the Deity power
- Add support for Magic talent starting level (5pts for 0-level)
- Add known abilities
- Add ability to turn off tabs you don't use (Spells, Powers,
specific spell colleges, etc)
- Add an Alphebetical tab to
Spells, Skills, etc that will list everything
- PDF
- Add support in PDF Generation for more items in a list (Skills, Advantages, etc) than are allowed on the PDF. Blank Page? Double up the lines (half font size)? User Selectable? Important items at top (Weapons, etc)
- Display of skills with multiple Talents will overlap skill level == bad
When you print the PDF, can you have it include the notes on the advantages and disadvantages? I've put a lot of information in the notes about limitations and such. Maybe you could use just one column for the advantages, disadvantages, and skills, so there'd be room for the notes. Fix formatting. Page numbers?
- Add an "Apply" button similiar to the addNew "Submit" button that pops up when you change things on the character sheet. Clicking this should perform an ajax call to quietly save anything that has changed.
- Add support for an "Other" character point field to fix character point totals that are otherwise incorrect
- under the injury tolerance advantage I didn't see a way to purchase stuff like " no neck", "no blood", "no head". most of these "limitations" are bought as a % but these aren't.
- Figure out how to add to the tree on the left to list campaigns/characters
- Fill in information on the "Help" button at top of page
Future enhancements:
- Characters:
- Add "Graveyard" where characters can be retired to and everyone can view their stats
- Add support for "Template" characters (from graveyard?) that will set up basic weapons, stats, etc for typical race, cleric, warrior, etc
- Add search (via ajax?) and change tabs for pages with a lot of data on them (ex: advantages, spells) so you can just start typing and the tab auto-selects and item highlights
- Auto-save via ajax (option)
- Add ability to duplicate character
- Import/Export from other programs: Gurps Character Sheet (open source)
- GM Center:
- Generate lookup tables for all/subset of characters attributes (IQ, DR, HP, etc)
- Find a way to auto-generate NPC foes and auto-generate foes at a level above/below characters level (as determined by the GM)
